Ribbon Cutting for Maple Woods

Two weeks ago on a very rainy Thursday morning I had the pleasure of attending the exciting ribbon cutting ceremony for Maple Woods, a brand new construction situated on 3.5 acres providing affordable homes for seniors 62+ years of age in Wenham, MA.

The setting of the building is peaceful, private and serene set at the top of a long driveway with community gardens and on-site walking paths adjacent to Conservation Land. The apartment features are gorgeous and offer high ceilings and lots of light. Each apartment has either a balcony or private porch.

Our seniors deserve to have more beautiful, well cared for and affordable home options like these where they can enjoy meeting and living among others while still enjoying their independence as they age. Congratulations to Harborlight Homes and all of the many Wenham officials and residents who worked long and hard over many years to make this happen.

Anthony DeFranza, Executive Director, Harborlight Homes said it best - "good things come to those who wait".
